Facilities Management pulls together 10 leading suppliers to the FM sector.
36 Strategies enables FM service providers to streamline their supply chain through its range of process design and implementation, product sourcing and procurement services.
“First, we design and implement efficient procurement processes, which save time, cost and deliver value to the business, such as being able to execute consistent FM service levels,” explains Steven Speter, managing director 36 Strategies. “We also have the tools to measure the progress made, such as the time it takes for a purchasing requisition to be approved,” he adds.
The firm currently procures over 1,000 different products catering to the different needs of its FM customers.
“We source, procure and deliver products FM companies require such as paper, plastics, chemicals, cleaning and housekeeping items, MEP and PPE,” explains Speter.
To enhance its supply chain work, 36 Strategies has created an online platform for purchasing products.
“Our clients can order items from a basket of products then obtain all the necessary approvals online or [on their] mobile. Because the employees will only see all the products which have been approved centrally, it ensures contract compliance and speedier delivery.”
Working with clients such as Emrill, MAB and Chicago, 36 Strategies has doubled their product portfolio this past year. It has also launched a mobile application for its e-Procurement platform. “During 2014 we have won several new customers, which has enabled us to grow our business by almost 350% and expand into new [areas] such as event management, hospitality and oil & gas, delivering over 1,000 SKUs to more than 150 sites [in] the UAE,” says Speter.
Looking forward, 36 Strategies intend to improve IT system capabilities by adding new features that will simplify the P2P experience for their customers, as well as expanding its product catalogue.
